About Facilities and Services
Mission | Values | Organizational chart
We’re here to serve you! U of T’s Facilities and Services group is 600 staff who work to make sure you have a safe, clean, comfortable, attractive and sustainable environment in which to learn, teach and play.
We are proud of our efforts to manage and provide service to over 11 million square feet encompassing over 120 buildings, plus the operation and management of an extensive district energy system supporting more than 150 buildings.
Over the course of the last 35 years, in addition to providing excellence in service, we’ve nurtured an enduring culture of sustainability within Facilities and Services. We maintain a commitment to environmental sustainability while at the same time honouring our responsibilities as stewards of our heritage buildings. We are confident our efforts will earn the respect and appreciation of future generations.
We’re always looking for new and better ways to serve the U of T campus community – and to improve in order to save money and to save our planet.
