Get ready for the 2025 holiday break: F&S service details

The festive season is just around the corner! The University of Toronto will take its annual holiday pause from Wednesday, December 24, 2025, through Friday, January 2, 2026. Regular operations will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026.

Before you head out for the holidays, here are a few important reminders to keep things running smoothly:

• Last day for regular Facilities & Services operations: Tuesday, December 23.
• Campus mail: Drop off mail by 9 a.m. on December 23 for delivery before the break. Items received later will be processed in January.
• Caretaking, waste management and recycling services: Submit requests by December 12 for any service during the break.
• Environmental protection services: Final biological/radioactive waste collection is December 23.
• Campus safety: Available 24/7. For emergencies, call 416-978-2222.

During the break, most facilities will operate on a reduced schedule and building systems will be adjusted to conserve energy. Please plan ahead to avoid disruptions.
