Notice of annual elevator testing

What is being done and why?

  • Ontario’s Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) requires all elevating devices in the province to be tested annually to ensure passenger safety.
  • We will conduct this testing on the elevator(s) listed above in accordance with TSSA code to identify and correct risks and technical issues before they might occur.
  • This test typically takes two to four hours to complete and will take place between the hours of 6 AM and 3 PM.
  • If minor repairs are required after the test, a separate service alert will be issued to update building occupants of next steps.

How will it impact building occupants?

During the service period, the elevator(s) will be out of order. Thank you for your patience as we conduct this critical work.
