Antoanela joined U of T in 2024 from the City of Toronto, where she was responsible for managing a portfolio of city assets that included City Hall and Old City Hall. She has over 25 years of leadership experience across the public and private sectors and served in a management role with Toronto Community Housing. There, she administered a sizeable portfolio of subsidized housing and supported the revitalization of Regent Park, a 69-acre social housing community. Antoanela led the relocation of Regent Park tenants during and after the revitalization, developing the policies and the guidelines that served as the basis for a fair and equitable relocation process for 2,000 families.
In addition to her master’s certificate in project management from the Schulich School of Business, Antoanela holds a Certified Facility Manager designation with the International Facility Management Association.
