As senior property manager, Ahamed leads a team of eight property managers who each oversee a portfolio of 10 properties.

His days start out with a review of work orders from clients, which can range from water leaks to furniture installations. After assessing the scope of each request, he assigns the work order to the right people for the job, often to F&S tradespeople, including plumbers, carpenters, or building engineers.

He addresses project documents and invoices awaiting his approval, then leverages his expertise to assess project feasibility.

For Ahamed, the best part about working at F&S is the collaborative work environment. Though each property manager is assigned their own buildings, the team comes together to help each other out when necessary. Should one property manager face a challenge, be it a client concern or an issue with equipment testing, others will step in to provide support and share experiences. “The team is what gets me excited and keeps me going,” he says.

As he settles into his new role, Ahamed is excited to focus on continuous improvement initiatives. First on his agenda is implementing a vendor evaluation program. This will ensure property management service providers are meeting quality standards and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, he’ll prioritize renewing the vendor of records contract, guaranteeing seamless support for ongoing projects managed by his team.

Outside of work, Ahamed enjoys spending time with friends and family, cycling, and hiking.
