What is being done and why?
Birnie Electric and Fire Prevention Services will be onsite to replace the Fire Alarm Panel in each building as part of the R.I.S.E. program.
This is being done to bring the systems up to current standards and make the systems easier to monitor and manage.
How will it impact building occupants?
There will be workers in the lobby where the fire alarm panel is being replaced.
After the panel has been replaced, all the rooms containing Fire Alarm Devices will have to be entered briefly to verify the function of the device.
Entry into occupied rooms will be coordinated ahead of time.
Noisy work will be done in off hours.
