Moving
Our Moving Services team provides a variety of moving and event services. We can support you with furniture moving, delivery and disposal, meeting set-up and take-down and room cleanout.

Schedule moving support on campus
- Email campus.moving@utoronto.ca and provide information about your move. The Campus Moving team will answer any questions and confirm when your move can be scheduled. This may take up to two weeks.
- Once the Campus Moving team has confirmed your move can be scheduled, submit a service request.
- Email campus.moving@utoronto.ca with your service order number.
Please follow these steps to ensure we can provide the service you need. If you only submit a service request without emailing the Moving Services team, we cannot guarantee your request will be scheduled.
Rates
Our rates are competitive and include vehicle and moving equipment costs. Rates are charged per mover per hour. Generally, campus moves require a minimum of two movers for at least one hour.

*For overtime or after-hours work you will be charged for a minimum of four hours at the overtime rate.
Moving supplies
Cardboard boxes are available for $4 each (for a 2 cubic foot box) and $7.50 each (for a banker box). Moving supplies, including packing tape, tape guns and bubble wrap are available for a nominal fee.
Cancellation policy
We understand that even the best-laid plans can go awry. Please try to provide a 24-hour notice so we can reassign our staff and vehicles. Any cancellations or delays with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged one hour per scheduled employee.
