Fire extinguisher training

Fire extinguisher training on campus

There are 7,400 fire extinguishers on the U of T St. George campus. Understanding how to use them is paramount for personal safety and property protection.

By being properly prepared to use fire extinguishers, U of T students, staff, and faculty may swiftly respond to incipient fires (if it is safe to do so), preventing escalation and potential disasters—containing small fires before they spread, mitigating damage, and reducing the risk of injury or loss of life.
