Revised notice of electrical work
Affected location(s): | Ramsay Wright Laboratories (072) |
Service period: | Wednesday, Jul. 2, 2025, 5 AM–12 PM |
What is being done and why?
Maintenance work will be done to the emergency power backup generator.
How will it impact building occupants?
- Generator 1 shall undergo annual generator work. Note that the generator shall be separated from the building electrical distribution system before commencement of the annual generator tests. This would ensure no power outage in the building nor any power interruptions (blips/flickering) during the testing period. Therefore, receptacles, lighting and equipment that are connected to normal and emergency power will not be affected by the generator work in any way.
- Note that the receptacles, lighting and equipment that are connected to emergency power in the buildings will lose power in the event of failure of external power source. In the rare case that this happens, power will be restored in a timely manner.
