Notice of fire extinguisher inspection

What is being done and why?

Fire Prevention Services will be inspecting the fire extinguishers inside the building in order to ensure they are functioning properly.

How will it impact building occupants?

Representatives from Classic Fire and Life Safety will be onsite to inspect the building’s fire extinguishers. They will be identified by clothing bearing their logo.

There will be minimal disruption to building occupants during the technicians’ inspection. They will be entering lab spaces (if applicable) to inspect the extinguishers within; they will make every effort not to disrupt any classroom activity and will not need to interact with occupants in any way.

If extinguishers are due for routine maintenance, they may be removed and replaced.
